This Website is dedicated to educating prisoners and their families that most prisoners are good people with an undiagnosed illness.  The prisoners learn that they are no longer bad, dumb, or criminals.  They learn that they have suffered from undiagnosed learning and sometimes mental challenges.  When these are properly diagnosed and treated these prisoners good productive people that they were meant to be.  This website has letters from inmates whose lives have been transformed.  In addition we provide services and links to assist prisoners and their families obtain needed services and create change in what has become known as the "Prison Industrial Complex".

 

The Happy Prisoner is a book written by a man suffering from Attention Deficit Disorder, Tourette's, and Dyslexia. He did not discover this until late in his life and after being imprisoned. It is his goal to aid both persons with these disabilities and those doing time to learn how to turn these disabilities into strengths, allowing them redefine themselves in a very positive way.

 

A.D.D.= Prison

Estimates range that as many as 70% of the inmate population suffer from Attention Deficit Disorder. In the majority of cases it is both undiagnosed and untreated. It is no wonder recidivism is so high. This book teaches prisoners who suffer from A.D.D. how to deal with this condition and transform their lives.
