prison guard accused of having sex BROWNWOOD, Texas – A former youth prison guard has been charged with having sex with a female inmate under 17 – the facility's fifth former guard to be arrested after a full-scale investigation into the system.
Jaime Segura, 30, of Brownwood was suspended without pay Friday as the Texas Youth Commission began the process of firing him, said Jim Hurley, a commission spokesman.
Mr. Segura, who was hired in 2005, had been on paid suspension since Feb. 24 at the Ron Jackson State Juvenile Correctional Complex in Brownwood.
